How the “Virtual Planning” Package Works

I’ve recently started offering my services virtually across the United States and Canada and as such, thought I’d write a blog post to go more into detail about what you can expect if you book with me! Virtual planning is perfect if you love my work, but don’t live in Southern California. It’s also a great choice if you’re trying to save a little money (even if you are local). In this blog post, I’ll break down every step you can expect while working with me. First, we will chat about your needs via email, phone or zoom (your call!) and this will help inform the theme or style of party you are going for. From there, I’ll make a mood board for you as seen below.

Once we agree on a mood board, I’ll move into the next step which is creating your design mockup. With the virtual planning package, you get up to 2 revisions on your mockup. The purpose of the design mockup is to design a final look for how the party will look in your desired space. This serves as a blueprint for the events design. An example design mockup can be seen below.

After we agree on a final design mockup, I will send you a shopping list! This is pretty much how it sounds - I’ll send over a PDF that includes a list of items to buy for the event along with thumbnail images, links, and total prices. Of course, you are not required to buy everything or anything off the list, but the list will be heavily based on the design mockup and mood board we agreed upon. As this is your event, you are also welcome to buy anything additional that isn’t on the list.

This is just a small example of the shopping list, but you get the idea. If you have any questions ahead of the event about how decor should be placed, feel free to ask! Again, the design mockup should act as a blueprint, but I’m happy to answer any questions. Additionally, you will receive my PDF tutorial on how to create a balloon garland. You can create a high quality garland as I did for this event! The last step of the virtual planning package is creating your day of timeline. I will help you plan out each hour from how much time you’ll need for setup and take down to planning time for each activity. Due to the nature of this package, I will not be present at your event so you’ll be running the actual event on your own, but I’ll be on standby via text in case any questions should arise!

If you have any additional questions about our virtual planning package, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d love to help you plan your next event.
