A Colorful First Birthday

This fun first birthday party was for my very own son! I had a lot of back and forth with myself regarding the theme, but after realizing I had been following a sort of rainbow theme for his monthly milestones, it all clicked. However, I didn’t want it to be a rainbow theme. I wanted it to feel like a massive pop of color - still including colors like red, orange, blue, green, pink and purple, but in more specific shades. I went with more of a rust-brick red, tangelo orange, aqua blue, lime green, mint green, and dark purple among other various colors. The goal was to make the room pop with as MUCH color as possible, so we covered the ceiling in colorful streamers and really overhauled the dining room with decorative wall streamers, fans and honeycombs! This theme left a major impact with guests and the birthday boy!
